This annual club fund raiser being held on February 19 is guaranteed to be a hoot! Proceeds from the auction allow us to continue to provide you with fun parties and helps us to purchase party supplies, door prizes, and membership “perks” such as grounds fees at a local club for special occasions, etc.

Auctionable items are needed, so please think about something you have that you might like to unload...er, contribute, that is. Items should be functional and in good condition...new or gently used is desirable. Past auctions have seen items such as a fondue set, videos, and even personal (non-sexual) services.

And don't forget the theme baskets. In the past, we have had several “themed” auction baskets (example: “movie basket” with a movie gift card, popcorn, and candy, a “bath basket” with bath products, or a “wine basket” – you get the idea!). If you have a service that you would like to offer for auction, that’s great too (example: “Handyman Service” – available for one day of odd jobs around your house, or “Clean-Sweep Services” – will clean your home or wash your windows for one day. Another example is a home-cooked “Dinner for Two”.) If you are offering a service, it must be provided within 6 months of purchase. There should be something for everyone! Use your imagination.

The items to be auctioned are always interesting and could even be a great deal! Be sure to bring some cash or a checkbook so that you won't miss that one-of-a-kind treasure.
